Electrical company interview questions

Many times interviews are not about your proficiency as much as they are about how well you can work with others and your underlying motivations. You may get some questions that will determine your common sense and critical thinking. You may be asked rather simple questions about general science such as how does an airplane fly. Not only do they want to see if you know some unrelated science but how well you react to sudden and unexpected questions and how well you answer.

Here are some questions that I have been asked. I also asked some of these when I gave a couple of interviews.

Tell me about one of your accomplishments.

Where did you work before comming here. Why did you leave, Why are you looking to leave.

Are you willing to travel, or relocate?

What can you tell us about our company? Why do you want to work for us? 

Describe your perfect job

Have you ever given a presentation? To how many people...

Describe a suggestion you made to fix a problem which was not used. How did that make you feel? What was the result.

Describe a unique solution to a problem that you solved.
Describe a solution to a problem that you opposed but worked anyway. Why did you oppose it.
